How To Build A Community Of Loyal Fans And Followers
This is an important question to ask yourself. How exactly can you make your marketing stand out and convince someone to choose you over another choice.
There are many different ways to do this. Of course, online, one way is to simply make sure you appear first in the search engines. Studies show the first thing that pops up may very well get the sale.
But what if you’re not first? What if your second on the list? Or third.
One of the first things I do for my clients is to work on their ‘be everywhere’ strategy. While we of course want to work on the rankings of their website so that shows up high in the search results, we also want to work on other content. Social media, videos, podcasts, blogs among other channels.
This way, when someone types in a search query, my client will come up more than once. Their website may come up but then also a blog post may appear on the page. And maybe a video they did. And a podcast. So they can appear multiple times for the same search which increases the chance of getting a click.
But what all of this content does is something more. It builds their celebrity, credibility and authority when done right.
Content gives people the opportunity to see the depths of your knowledge on the topic. It allows people to see and hear you which can bond and brand you. You become more than just a company striving for their dollars. You become a resource. An expert. A real person.
